What is a studio session like?
Your studio session will take place at our urban loft located in Pioneer Square. Every studio session includes both indoor and outdoor images. Our studio is filled with funky furniture and props including a variety of hats and tutus that are sure to make your session one of a kind.
Do you offer location shoots?
Yes! Shellie loves the challenge of on-location shooting. Many choose to have the session take place in their home or a favorite park. You will see many examples of location portrait sessions through out the Shutterbox Photos galleries.
How many images will I have to choose amongst?
You will have a minimum of 30 images to choose amongst. Your session will include a great variety that you are sure to love.
How will I view and order my portraits?
We will schedule a time for you to return to the studio to view your portrait session. We will work with you and assist you in ordering as well.
How long does a typical session last?
A typical session lasts about an hour and a half. Sometimes newborn sessions can take a bit longer as we take plenty of breaks for feeding etc..
What should we wear?
If this is a family portrait session, please wear clothes that are similar in tone. You don’t all wear matching white shirts and khaki pants in real life , so no need to pull out this uniform for your portrait session either. 
Simple and casual is best. We enjoy assisting in styling your session too, so if you like to bring us a few options, this is even better!
