Mentoring

Just can’t get the studio light right or the posing down ? Come spend the day with me at our downtown Seattle studio loft and learn my tips and tricks on how to interact with subjects, pose them, light them etc… The day will be tailor made to fit your needs. So if you are all natural light, we can focus on how to use available light indoors and what to look for outside on-location. Want to work on newborns or how to pose pregnant women? Need tips on how to interact with families and get those natural connections?

In addition to photography, we can go over how to run a profitable and successful business. Lastly, I will share all of my photoshop tips and tricks and provide a portfolio and website critique. Inquire for more details if you are interested by emailing me at shellie@shutterboxphotos.com.

Having trouble finding cool and funky clothes for your little one? Check out eight3one. This fun clothing line was started by Aimee and Sven, proud parents of Max. The idea was born at the same time as Max when they could not find clothes that they loved for their brand new baby boy. They decided to make their own, and the rest is history!
