This was a bit of a race to the finish line! Not sure if the weather would hold out for our session, but we decided to just go for it and hope for the best. The rain gods smiled upon us and we were able to have an awesome urban session as scheduled!  Not only this, but we made the yearbook deadline! WOOHOO! Kayla is also an awesome 2012 Spokesmodel for Shutterbox Photos!

This high school senior was so sweet and had such great style! She tells me that she loves art and photography too!  She was definitely up for anything. We shot her session at the studio and then ventured to the park for a Twilight session! She rocked  both like a pro!

I know that it is crazy to think about, but the holidays will be here before you know it! We have most of the holiday sessions photographed for the year! We kicked it off this year with this adorable brother and sister! You may recognize them from last year too…this year, we changed the scenery up a bit! Big brother is the very calm, cool and quiet kind – while little sis is quirky! I always enjoy seeing these two!

My family and I have been on the other side of the camera too so I can totally relate to that feeling us mommies have of being a little stressed, worried about clothing, and praying that my kids do great for our annual family portrait session!  The question often comes up – “Did you get anything” with a semi-hopeful yet doubtful smile.

I think this mommmy may have been just a bit worried – but in between all of the laughing, playing, maybe a little tear or two, we capture lots of great genuine moments that I hope they treasure forever!

Ps. You may not recognize the face of this pretty lady but you surely know her voice. I love STAR 101.5 and look forward to hearing Ana Kelly daily on the radio!

It was a little iffy up until the moment of the session on this crazy Seattle weather, but we managed to pull out an  amazing twilight session with this super cute high school senior!
