Chris is my partner in crime when it comes to the Modern Reel Home videos! His family is full of the Christmas spirit! I never thought santa hats could look so cute! We really lucked out with some gorgeous weather in between the rain drops here in Seattle!

This next family is very near and dear to my heart. They have been our wonderful and amazing neighbors for the last 7 years or so. Our boys have grown up with their kids…they are like siblings and their daughter is the sister that my boys never had…We are so blessed that they moved here from Germany and have made their home here and I was delighted to photograph them!

I am so blessed and thankful for all of the amazing clients that I have met over the years. I have been honored to photograph this sweet family from when they were expecting big sister here in these photographs — to now with their beautiful growing family.  There really are no words to describe how incredible it is to know that they have chosen Shutterbox Photos to photograph their most precious moments.

Photography has taking me on a journey that I would have never expected…I have been to places that I never thought I would go…I have made some incredible friends all around the world…I am so grateful and thankful for photography and my wonderful family who has supported all the long hours and hard work along the way.

I first met this new bride-to-be a couple of years ago when I photographed her family.   I am definitely no wedding photographer, but I must say that I do really enjoy photographing two people who are so in-love and authentic with each other like these two.

Paul and Emily have known each other since they were kids. They were so sweet together. I think Paul may have been feeling a little shy and not quite sure what to expect, but it didn’t take long for him to relax! He was also under strict instruction (unbeknownst to me) to leave his favorite article of clothing behind which was his hand-made beanie…after the session was over – he made a run for it to the car to get it…so of course, we had to at least get one photo with it!

Admittedly, this blog post is WAYYY overdue! The happy couple married last weekend! I was honored to be a bridesmaid in their beautiful wedding! It was as if the clouds parted and the sun came out (although still chilly) because God knew that this was a special day!  I’ve been friends with Bev over 10 years. I’ve watched her grow as a person , raise her daughter, work hard…and now she has found her match – the love of her life! I am soooo beyond happy for her!  And Jeff – wow! What an amazing guy and right under her nose all along! Isn’t that how it is sometimes though?   Their wedding was absolutely perfect too – no detail was left out.  Going in to it, I thought – wow this is going to be so fun to be in Bev’s wedding….I had no idea that I would also walk away with having made so many incredible new friends!!!

Welll – Bev and Jeff are in sunny Hawaii relaxing on the sand somewhere celebrating the beginning of their new life together! Congrats to you guys! I love you loads!!
