I admit that I am a hopeless romantic. I love sappy movies and cry at almost anything, and I always love to hear the details of a great LOVE STORY.

I am pretty sure that my grandparents have the greatest LOVE STORY of all from beginning to end.  I loved listening to them tell me the story about how they met – my grandma worked in her brothers Harley Davidson shop and my grandpa had noticed her there and had asked her out.  My grandma’s brother wasn’t too sure about this fella but all worked out and they were soon married.  They were married for over 50 years. Their marriage was full and beautiful until the day they passed away.

I am so excited about this new product offering that I want to give someone a chance to win a complimentary LOVE STORY session and one 10×10 10 spreads(20 page) album!

• Provide a short entry (no more than 300 words) describing your Love Story and why you think you should win! Send entries to shellie@shutterboxphotos.com. Deadline to submit entries is January 15th, 2012.
• The top 10 LOVE STORIES will be posted on the blog January 20th, 2012 and the entry who receives the most votes wins!

The VALUE of a LOVE STORY session is $925.00, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to do something amazing and document your one-of-a-kind story for generations to come.

The FINE print
Deadline to submit entries is January 15th, 2012.
Entrant must also comment on the blog post to enter their name officially.
Session must be completed by May 30th, 2012.
Session will take place in the greater Seattle area at a location of the photographers choice.
No exceptions to any of the FINE PRINT.
Entries that do not have a blog post to enter their name will not be considered.
An outside person (other than Shellie) will review the entries and select the top 10 LOVE STORIES to post on the blog for consideration.

This incredible couple holds a special place in my heart! They tied the knot on November 19th and I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in their wedding! Well, I can safely say that I have most of the holiday orders all completed and out the door! Phew! The Gansz family even has our own Christmas card to send out this year! I feel so accomplished! And here is a peek of what we have been up too..A few high school seniors and an awesome family!

Looking ahead, there are lots of newborns coming up – so this is advance warning to prepare for baby fever!

I have known this beautiful mama-to-be since 7th grade!  We were disconnected after graduating high school and recently met back up again about a year or so ago at our high school reunion.  She is one of those lovely souls who just shines from the inside out. Even though I hadn’t talked to her in years – we just picked up right where we left off like old friends.

I remember silly things like in high school sitting next to her in English class and writing on my peachee Joe + Shellie ! LOL!  She would ask – who is this Joe of yours and I told her – well , he doesnt know he is mine just yet..haha. Now Joe is my husband and we have three boys!

We have all come a long way from high school…And my beautiful friend is working on baby #2 now, and I couldn’t have been more over joyed to photograph this beautiful time in their lives.  Stay tuned for the baby pictures soon!

Between rescheduling and weather, this is the session that we have been trying to photograph since this spring.  Finally, the stars aligned , the clouds parted, and we had an incredible day of beautiful light and awesome kids in playful moods and this is a little peek of the outcome – totally worth the wait!
